The base features a convenient handle on the underside as well for moving the stone over a large work piece for maximum versatility. This particular model comes equipped with coarse diamond (45 micron / 325 mesh) to quickly restore a neglected edge, as well as extra-coarse diamond (60 micron / 220 mesh) for when significant removal of material is needed to repair a damaged edge.
