Description: TV-10D Tested 1000 (Minimum Test 700) This was in a very large box of tubes wrapped in newspapers that had been sitting on my shelf for many years. It looks like guide pin on the side of the base had been cut off and a new one inserted a little below the original pin site. I measured this and I read it as 1 inch (Not 1.236 inches. See outline picture) as measured from the bottom of the 4 pins. I suspect Western Electric did this as it was very well done as it is very solid. Please see the pictures for your own judgment. I found information that Western Electric made special sockets for this tube such as 101L and 101R Local Pick-Up Available By Appointment I do combine items when and if possible or practical.
