Brick Red Cloth Covers with Beveled Edges, minor wear to edges and corners consistent with age, Black and Gold Gilt titles and artwork to cover and spine, the first three pages are loose in the front of the book, binding is firm, all else is present an in good shape. Minor toning with age. All illustrations depicted in my photographs, and all present. This work largely about the English Setter, but also mentioning Irish Setters, Gordon Setters and English Pointers. A wonderful and decorative addition to your Fine Book Collection, this Find Binding is the likes of which is not made any more. This Auction is for the book pictured, I took the attached pictures 4/1/22. I do not ever scan my fine old books, as the spines are fragile and scanning requires laying them open flat, which can be damaging. I take photographs instead. Colors are actually richer than shown here, as my light box dilutes the colors slightly. Minor edge and shelf wear, and upper right corner bumped, no tears, boards very slightly warped. Upper right liquid damage to back cover and inside back page only, text unaffected. Overall excellent condition for age of 110 years! A wonderful addition to your collection!
