Externally, smart with rubbing to the extremities and light fading to the spine. The odd small mark to the boards with minor splits in the cloth to the head and tail of the spine. Hinges just starting but firm. Internally, firmly bound with the rear endpaper detached but present. Pages are very bright with light scattered spotting and the odd small handling mark. Light age toning to the extremities. A contemporary ink inscription to the front endpaper.
