The "Large Cents" of King Edward VII were issued each year between 1902 and 1910 when the King passed away. A total of nine dates, but counting the key date 1907 coin from the Heaton mint, 10 coins to complete the set. The son of the long reigning Queen Victoria, who died in 1901, Edward did not wear the crown until he was 59 years old. He only ruled until his death in 1910, but in that short time he gave his name to the "Edwardian Age". He died at just age 68 from bronchitis. His son became King George V.
