Description: I have for sale a rare 19th century 1/2 plate ambrotype photo in the original wood frame by Bacon of New York. Bacon's Bowery St., New York, NY. Date: 1850's (Approx.) The photo features a husband and wife and their two young children. The woman in the photos has some gold tinting to her portrait. I didn't take the photo out to clean the glass on the inside, but overall it is in very good condition. I have provided (40) enlarged photos below in the listing to give you a better view.
