Description: You are looking at a right handed Epiphone '58 Korina Explorer Electric Guitar in a an ebony black gloss finish. This auction does include the padded Jackson backpack case, shown. It is in great condition and functions just as it should. The serial number of this guitar is stamped on the back of the headstock. According to a serial number search, it was made in China in 2010. Please note--the full serial number can not be read due to a spot of damage on the back of the headstock, but the year can still be determined. See photos #22-23. This guitar is in great preowned condition. There is only very minor cosmetic wear present, there are no glaring flaws. I will detail each area of the guitar specifically, below. Please note: I am not the original owner of this guitar, and I do not know the history. I am very picky, and I have examined it carefully for cosmetic issues--scratches, dings, dents, cracks, etc., and I will describe everything in detail. Feel free to check my feedback for other happy guitar buyers--I strive to be extremely thorough and accurate in my listings. I have checked the headstock front and back, the neck, the fretboard, and the face, sides, and back of the guitar. I have tested it. All electronics function exactly as they should and the guitar stayed in tune while I tested it. The neck looks to be straight, not bowed in any way. The guitar weighed 7 pounds, 15 ounces on my postal scale. What I do see, specifically, cosmetically:The headstock is in excellent condition on the front and sides, with only very minor surface scuffs in a couple of spots. The back does have a small chip type mark that goes down to the wood, which I have pictured, right over the last 3 digits of the serial. The nut looks excellent and all strings are secure. The Grover tuners are original and have only some minor finish wear. Please see photos #11, #12, #15, #17, #18 and #22 and #23. The fretboard is in excellent condition as well, with no real cosmetic issues or wear that I can see. Please see photo #14. The sides and back of the neck are the same--excellent condition with no wear that I can find. There are no areas that my fingers catch or anything sharp on any areas. Please see photo #21. The wear to the body: one thing to note, none of the 'points' of the guitar have any damage. The front, sides, and rear of the body have only minor things to be mentioned. Photo #5 shows a small indent and a bit of surface scuffing (not to the wood--surface only) to the front of the body. Photos #19 and #20 show some surface wear to the rear and another small indent mark. There are no other indents, deep scratches, cracks, or major flaws anywhere other than what I have specifically pointed out. The cosmetic things I see on the body are not glaring, but they are there, so I want to make sure to disclose them. I would ask that you please examine all body photos to determine these cosmetic issues for yourself, as I know condition of these things can be subjective. Overall, the guitar looks to be in great preowned condition. Please see all body photos. There are no neck cracks on either side. I have shown both sides of the neck in my photos, #10 and #13. There are no cracks anywhere on this guitar. Again, all electronics function as they should. The Jackson backpack case is included. It is well padded and very nice. It has 2 zippered compartments and the main compartment. All zippers function just as they should and all handles are intact and secure for transporting and carrying. The stand shown in photo #1 is not included in this auction--it was for picture purposes, only. Please note: I am a musician, but I am NOT a guitar expert. This guitar was not mine originally, and I do not know the history of it. I know items like this can be subjective. I strive very hard to be 100% accurate in my listings, but I am human and occasionally I may miss something. Please, take the time to view ALL of my pictures for any issues, so that you know exactly what you are getting. I have tried to picture and describe everything from every angle and represent exactly the way the guitar looks in person. If you'd like to see more photos or you have additional questions, please feel free to contact me before bidding! I can only upload so many photos per listing, but I can send more individually. I am here to help! Feel free to check my feedback on guitar purchases to see many happy customers! This guitar and case will be large and very heavy once prepared for shipment, and this will be shipped UPS Ground ONLY, well packaged for protection. Please do not bid if that shipping service is an issue for you, or if you have a P.O. Box, as I do not have any other options for shipping large/heavy items at this time. Shipping costs have risen significantly with EVERY carrier. I do not look to profit on shipping charges, only cover my costs to ship safely! I strive to keep costs as low as possible for my buyers. I ship my items as soon as possible, Monday through Friday only, during business hours. PLEASE READ THESE 15 THINGS BEFORE BIDDING: Please make sure to read the listing and description completely and carefully and look at all photos before bidding. Your bid is an agreement to purchase the item. This store sells many pre-owned items. We do our best to accurately describe any damage in our listing (condition description/details). Minor cosmetic blemishes and signs of use might be missed once in awhile, so PLEASE ASK if you're concerned about such things and can't tell by looking at the pictures what to expect. If the item is perfect or almost perfect (near new), the listing will let you know, otherwise please assume it has some signs of use if it is listed as used. This store uses UPS and USPS shipping. If either is a problem, ask about it before purchasing. The winning bidder pays shipping and potentially sales tax, depending on your state regulations. Ebay collects this tax, not us. PLEASE CHECK TO SEE IF YOUR STATE COLLECTS SALES TAX BEFORE BIDDING, if that is an issue for you! All items must be paid for within seven days after the close of the auction. We do not end our auctions early for BUY IT NOW prices so please do not email and ask for an early ending price. In fairness to all bidders, we let all auctions end at their scheduled times. Items will ship within 4 business days of payment unless combined shipping or some other special circumstance has been arranged. We only ship products to the contiguous United States--the lower 48 States ONLY. WE DO NOT SHIP TO CANADA or PUERTO RICO. No exceptions. If you'd like to arrange a local pickup, you are welcome to! Please contact us before purchase to arrange that. Payment and pickup are due within one week of auction's end. Combined shipping discounts are honored on multiple listings purchased at the same time. We will charge right around our actual shipping cost. Please contact us before sending any payment and we will send a correct discounted invoice for you! Any questions at all should be asked before purchase. We do offer a 14 Day Return Policy if the item contains a defect or any damage that we did not list in the description. This does not apply to cosmetic damage shown in the pictures. We always strive for 100% customer satisfaction. Please email us directly if you have an issue and we will be more than happy to help! Please, serious bidders only. Thank you for looking and bidding!
