I have no idea what the issue was or is, we have not run it nor do we have the capability of running this engine. Priced for parts or possible repair only. I don't know if the steering has been updated. Starter is not functioning, we used a different starter to get compression.Compression is 125-125-125-125-130-125. Engine hours are unknown. Cowlings have some scratches/fade but in decent shape. Trim and tilt functions well. Used prop included (Prop in fair shape). There is corrosion consistent with saltwater use. Right Hand rotation lower unit. No controls included, and none are available. I ship worldwide at reasonable rates.
