This version is based on the watch that was mostly worn by U.S. Air Crew & Ground Troops being the most mass made version by one of the biggest watch manufacturers in America at the time.Distinguishable by the plain dial with no 'railway' track around the outside.This company also made various versions. including the rare white dial version which was also used in the Navy. Often known as "The Watch That Won The War" It was the First watch to have a 'hacking' feature. Ie. the seconds hand could be stopped enabling synchronisation with other pilots and ground forces.
