Description: Welcome to Antiques & Moore! This listing is for a lovely American Brilliant Period cut glass miniature whiskey or rum jug, c. 1880-1900. This little jug has a nicely cut pattern around the bottom half of the jug with a paneled upper body extending upward toward the ring around the slender neck of the piece. It has a small mouth with slight spout and its original matching stopper. The jug has a thick glass base with multi-cut star design. This is a rare shape and unusual to find in a miniature size. Measures 5" high with an overall width of 3 1/4" (including handle). Weighs 1.2 pounds. This nice novelty rum jug is in excellent Estate condition with no noted flaws. There may be a tiny nick within the cut design that we missed, however, upon close inspection we did not find anything wrong with it.
