Description: Antique Watrous Sterling Silver COIN DANCE PURSE COMPACT On the front, it is engraved - "Deziree" - inside of a rectangle.It is Hammered. On the inside it is stamped with a Watrous maker's mark, looks something like this: "(W" and Sterling Silver and 765 (maybe 765 is a design number?) Has a place for your dance card, two coin slots held in place by springs, an intact mirror including the backing of the mirror (not sure what material this is) and a place for your powder. It belonged to an older friend of my mother's who was born in 1914. Measurements: 3-1/2" x 2-3/8" x 11/16" thick with a chain of about 12-1/2" long Weighs 110 grams or 3.9 ounces The only damage I see is a dent on the back - other than age! Watrous Mfg.
