Description: Antique silver plated W&H dance compact and card case, with dance chain. Measures approx. 3 1/4" by 2 1/8" by 3/4". The outside has alternating rows of fine lines, solid and a checkered pattern. The front is monogrammed D.M.E. The original chain measures approx. 10", with a drop off 5". Inside there is a well for loose powder and the original puff, and a well with rouge and the original puff. A cute little metal tie holds the puffs in place till needed. A mirror is in the top. Under this is the card case. W&H or Wrightman and Hough started in 1856 in Providence RI making jewelry and other small metal objects. They closed in 1922. Please view all photos.
