Antique Toleware Candle Mold Painted Paint Flowers Folk Art Tole Ware Primitive. Description: This 19th c. 6-candle mold is made of thick-guage tin and has an early painted tole decoration that is really charming and folky. It features dainty, early painted flowers against a black background on the front three sticks. It also has a carrying handle. The top and bottom are painted with gold paint. This piece is really "barn-fresh" and I have not attempted to clean it. Despite a few dents (see below), it's a wonderful piece of folk art for your kitchen or toleware collection. (NOTE: The first pic is taken in bright light, to highlight the decoration; the remaining pics show what it looks like in normal room lighting). Condition: Good antique condition; there are a few dents on the first candle-stick The painted decoration is in great shape; there are some spots of wear to the black background paint, which doesn't affect the decoration.
