Description: Ascension Islands Stamps 1922: St Helena Stamps opt Ascension: SG1/9: CV £582 Note that the 8d (CV £60 - noticeable on the reverse scan) and 0.5d (CV £30) stamps contain a longitudinal storage bend - see scans. The bend is more pronounced on the 8d stamp (see scans). These faults have been considered in pricing this lot. These stamps were in an old Harmers auction folio which had been bent slightly during about 60 years of storage. The other stamps have a lower CV. Certificates can be provided for each of the other stamps on request, but are not placed on the listing as there is a 24 picture limit for each listing.
