Solid 18kt rose gold case measures at 42mm and 12mm thick this watch was designed by Jeffrey Hess as homage to the original 12 size pocket watch made by Ball in the 1930s. A few unique and standout features of this watch include the engraved Arabic numerals on the outer bezel, large onion style crown, beautiful lugs, and a portrait framed and outlined seconds window at the 6 o’clock. All of these follow the historical context of original Ball pocket watches used to measure the accuracy of train schedules. I have followed Ball Watches for a long time and have owned over 25+ watches and I was told there was less than 75 of these produced.Watch is excellent condition with minimal wear, clean glass, buttery smooth crown, beautiful unpolished case with sharp elongated lugs. This is an enthusiast owned (myself) piece and was recently completely serviced and overhauled, keeping excellent time and accuracy. Included is the original Brown genuine Alligator leather strap which shows hardly any wear (almost NOS condition) along with an original solid gold 18k rose gold Ball buckle.
