Description: This is a brand new with manufacturer's warranty Briggs VANGUARD 23HP engine. The crankshaft is 1 1/8th inch diameter x 3.9 inches (4 inches) long. This is very close to a standard spec. Vanguard 23 vertical shaft engine. It comes with a 12 volt electric starter, 16 Amp alternator with regulator to prevent overcharging of the starter battery, Oil cooler, Fuel pump, and Mechanical governor. It is set up for remote controls so doesn't have it's own controls on-board. It DOES NOT come with a muffler. This 380777 engine has the older style shrouding which has more clearance than the new type so it is interchangable with either engine from a shrouding point of view. The newer version of this engine is 386777-3024. Contact me, Rick, with your current model and specification number. I will be able to confirm to you that this engine can be used as a replacement.
