Description: Unique, handmade tattoo foot operated pedal switch with color changing LED built in which operates when the tattoo machine is in standby mode. The LED operates when the power unit is on but not tattooing yet. When you begin tattooing, the LED turns off, then back on when pedal is released. A great way to attract attention on your station. This pedal is ready to plug into the normal quarter inch jack on your power supply. The LED slowly cycles through the entire color spectrum. The LED may not be compatible with some digital power supplies. If you find the on/off function of the pedal is delayed or runs when it shouldn't, there is a switch underneath to disconnect the LED. An instruction sheet on how to perform this is included The LED is designed to operate at voltages between 6 and 12 volts, but will function at most voltage settings. Works best with any older, simple power supply but will also work with some newer power supplies with the LED disabled, as described above The base is constructed of solid brass with a solid brass arm tipped with a rubber knob. It has sturdy rods across the top which are copper clad steel. The micro switch is long lasting and a durable commercial grade. The cord is copper braiding over insulated copper wire and has a brass plated spring as a strain relief on each end.
