Description: This lovely circa 1920s winter landscape is signed "E. W. Redfield" in the lower left. The painting, which is oil on board, shows nice brushwork and areas of heavy impasto as can be seen in the images. The painting measures 7-3/4" x 9-1/8" and is housed in a rather elaborate vintage gilt wood frame that measures 12-1/2" x 14-1/4". Both the painting and frame are in very good condition with no apparent defects. We acquired this painting many years ago at an estate sale in Bucks County, Pennsylvania, when we were living there, and it has been in our collection ever since. We are attributing this painting to artist Edward W. Redfield (1869-1964) but cannot guarantee authenticity.
