Description: Selling 100 keyhole limpets from the estate of Robert E. Woodruff. Mr. Woodruff was a well known entomologist for the University of Florida, but it was clear at his estate sale that he loved to collect more than bugs including rocks, fossils, and shells. These shells were collected somewhere in the 1950's and 1960's based on other shells he had that were labeled as such. The location isn't given but probably Florida, Puerto Rico, and the Caribbean. All have clear original holes in the center. Great for jewelry making or craftwork. Free shipping in the USA.
