By 1998, there was already a backlog of product that stalled the arrival of this set's case assortment, plus this set was short-packed and came one per case. Both of these factors, plus the gas mask accessories that were previously only available in the original Star Wars action figure "Survival Kit" mail-away accessory set made this a highly sought after Cinema Scene when released. STAR WARS THE POWER OF THE FORCE was a toy line produced by Hasbro from 1995 to 2000, featuring characters, vehicles, and accessories from the original trilogy and the Expanded Universe. It was the first Star Wars action figure collection since the vintage line ended in 1985. The initial figures had a muscular look that was later toned down for more movie accuracy.
