I wanted to do more of the work myself when choosing the next projects, a pair of night stands. My husband used the saws so I didn't cut a limb off. I learned how and did pretty much everything else. I bought this Kreg jig and what a game changer. I'm still learning and forgot to change the depth on a piece of wood, meaning I drilled into the base of the jig. While I'm sure that I haven't quite used this pocket-hole jig to its greatest potential, I've been extremely impressed so far. Using the jig is fairly straight forward, even for a novice like myself. I've never had a pocket-hole jig before, so I don't have any standard to which I could compare it, but I think you'd be hard-pressed to find something better unless you're willing to part with significant money.
