But the Flight of the Freebird continued when The Rossington Collins Band formed by Gary Rossington and Allen Collins with Billy Powell, Leon Wilkeson, Barry Harwood, Derek Hess and Dale Krantz carried on the southern rock genre that Skynyrd helped pioneer.
