Most of his metal work was first done in terra cotta and then cast in bronze. His Zulu heritage influenced his work, often touching on spirituality, good and evil, reincarnation and the influence of ancestors. He began his career in the 1960s and exhibited his work around the world. These bronze sculptures can be used as bookends, displayed together or individually. Each way you turn them gives them a slightly different look along their angles. Each are a different shape, which can be demonstrated by looking at the bottoms. Bases are weighted with sand and the bottoms are sealed with a sponge-like felt material. The bronze has been treated to create a black patina, with a light green verdigris that highlights the recesses. Returns accepted within 30 days of goods in their original condition.
