Description: The Metropolitan Museum of Art vintage, hand-painted tin-glazed earthenware book bottle. This is a 1937 reproduction of the early 18th century bottles of English delftware. May have been used as hand warmers when filled with warm water. Inscription reads, “THE GIFT IS SMALL GOOD WILL IS ALL”. It measures 5" tall x 3" wide x 1 ¼" deep excluding the cork. The original printed description that came with this book bottle will be shipped as well and is seen in the pictures. A very unique item and in excellent condition with no chips or cracks and comes with the original stickers.
