Should take less than twenty minutes to replace. I am offering EIGHT of these that I have culled from a greater number. Each was tested and is guaranteed for smooth up and down damping controlled motion. There are two ways to cure your cueing motion dropping like a rock or not moving at all. The first method involves dismantling the whole mechanism and dealing with a very tiny set screw and springs, as well as removing old sticky damping fluid. It can be done, but it will take at the very least a couple of hours if you have never done it before. (And good luck finding suitable damping fluid!) The second method is to remove the whole apparatus and install this tested one. Done in about 20 minutes. Lift "arm" available separately.
