Serve this uncomplicated, one-pan bread pudding warm with applesauce, maple syrup or whipped cream Ingredients 3 cups French Vanilla Half & Half 4 Large eggs 1/2 cupbrown sugar 1/2 cupraisins, dried cherries or dried cranberries (or other dried fruit) 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract 1 1/2 teaspoons Cinnamon Powder 3 tablespoons Butter or Margarine, melted 4 medium apples 8 cupscubed stale bread Directions Heat oven to 350 degrees. Butter the bottom and sides a 13x9 inch baking dish. In a large bowl, mix the half & half and eggs until smooth. Stir in the brown sugar, dried fruit, vanilla, cinnamon and melted butter. Peel and chop apples. Place the apples, bread cubes and raisins in the baking dish to form a uniform layer. Pour egg mixture over apples and bread. Bake until set, 40 to 50 minutes. Serve warm.
