Vintage 80’s Gold Sequin Taffeta Bow Prom Homecoming Mini Dress Small

Description: Here is a vintage gold sequin mini dress with bow. I purchased this as vintage in the 2008-2012 time frame to potentially wear to an 80’s party and I never ended up wearing it. It is labeled a size 3-4 but please read the measurements in the next paragraph to make sure it will work for you. The dress has shoulder pads to enhance that 80’s look and a tulle under layer to pouf out the skirt. I am pretty sure the skirt is made of taffeta because it is crisp. It has a zip up back. The dress is in very good vintage condition with a few flaws to note, please examine all photos: there are a couple of very light snags to the skirt, there are a couple of areas on the bottom hem of the skirt where the stitching has come undone, and there are 2 small white spots on the back of the skirt. There are a few sequins missing but not many. The skirt is full and poufy so it is hard to notice these things as they kind of get lost in the folds of the fabric. Despite its flaws, the dress presents really well and is totally awesome! Laying flat it measures about 15” from underarm to underarm (it does have some stretch), 16.5” from shoulder seam to shoulder seam, 22” from shoulder seam to end of sleeve, about 11.75” at the smallest part of the waist (this does have some stretch), total length of dress is 36” from top to bottom in the front, and it is about 40”in total length in the back. The front of the actual skirt portion is about 13” in the center, and the back of the skirt is about 17”. The sequined top part is a drop waist style and measures about 20” from center of front neck to end of the sequined part. I measure 32 bust and 26 waist (wear a modern day size 2-4 dress) and this does stretch enough to fit me. I will send this in a box so it doesn’t get crushed. From a smoke free home!
