Description: Vintage Diane Freis Silk Floral Beaded Chiffon Midi Party Special Occasion Formal Dress Size and condition: PLEASE READ!!! The size tags is missing, however due to measurements taken, it fits closest to a size 8 or Medium. Please check and compare measurements before purchasing. A couple of single thread pulls but almost not worth mentioning as they are so minimal. Also there are a few loose beads and a couple small ones missing but honestly, the pattern is so busy that you wouldn't even know they're not there. A couple of very tiny drips of liquid spots that are very faded and hard to see on the front but I'm sure dry cleaning can help with that. One pin prick end size hole on the front of bust but again its so teeny tiny that I bet you could just move or push a couple of the threads over and it will be hidden but you really can't see its barely anyways. It's vintage and with all vintage dresses you have to expect a few flaw here and there and these are all very minimal. Colors are approximate: Blue, purple, black and pink with blue and pink beads Measurements while laying flat from side to side: Armpit to armpit un-stretched to stretched: 18-21 inches across Length (top of dress to bottom hem): Approximately 55 inches at the longest length. Beautiful dress! Just stunning and a rare vintage find! The skirt is my favorite! It has overlapped silk slits all around it so it's flowy. There are seven slits all around the skirt that are high slits up to bottom of crotch level but have fabric overlapping beneath. Very delicate, silk chiffon fabric. Long sleeves with ruched seam on one side. Beautiful purple, blue and pink beads on floral pattern on front of top. Skirt sits close to ankle length on the longest length. Ties at back of neck. Smocked elastic waist. Shoulder pads. Silk is sheer on the arms and double layered silk throughout so skin toned undergarments are recommended.The skirt has different lengths as well. Beautifully made. You can really feel the quality. A very special dress for sure! Suitable to wear to a party, wedding guest, formal occasion etc. Important to Know.... Many of my dresses are clamped at the back for picture purposes to show you all the style of the dress better so in case you're wondering by looking at the picture that it might be too small since my mannequin is a size 2, it's probably clamped and will be larger when let loose but with the same shape. I try to dress the model proportioned to the style of the dress and not the size so you can see it better. Hope that helps. Please check measurements before purchasing.
