Vintage Jingdezhen Chinese Rice Eyes Grain Porcelain Sake or Tea Cup w/Flower

Description: This is a listing for Chinese Rice Grain Porcelain Tea Cups. Traditional Chinese Porcelain, in the rice-eyes style, are associated with the Jingdezhen region of China. The pattern has the appearance of scattered rice grains baked into the porcelain, which are pierced before firing and then filled with translucent glaze. This creates a pattern as light strikes the surface of the cup. Please see the 'glowing rice' as shown in the first picture. The inside of the cup is also decorated with a floral motif in the bottom of the cup. The rim of the cup is highlighted in gold gilt. There are no chips, cracks, or breaks. Please understand there can be many variations in used items and/or antique/vintage items. This includes, but is not limited to, size, weight, air bubbles, texture, thickness, shade, shape, and variations in color and creation/manufacturing marks.
