Description: Offered for your consideration is A SET OF GERMAN PORCELAIN KITCHEN CANISTERS 12 Canisters and 12 Lids. The large canisters are Oatmeal, Rice, Coffee, Tea & Sugar. The small canisters are, Cloves, Allspice, Nutmeg, Cinnamon & Pepper. The oil and vinegar cruets look they have never been used. The others have varying signs of wear but are in very good condition with the following exceptions: Photo 4. Web crack small pepper. Extends inside much smaller. Photo 5 & 6. Small crack side & front of large coffee, barely inside. Photo 7. Large crack across lid of coffee. Also inside but smaller. Photo 8. Small nip inside top of small clove. These pieces remain structurally sound despite the issues outlined. It does not appear any repairs have been made on these or any piece. MEASURES: Cruets: 9 1/2 x 3 x 3 1/2 (add 2" stopper) Large Canisters: 8 1/2 x 4 1/2 x 4 1/4 (add 2" lid) Small Canisters: 4 1/2 x 2 1/2 x 2 1/4 (add 1" lid) This set is 100 years old soon and some darkening, pocking, etc. is to be expected. These are antiques that have survived in the busy kitchen. It's rare to find so many pieces in this condition. They display beautifully despite the conditions we've mentioned.
