Vintage Schwinn Paramount Hardtail Series R30 19" MTB Suntour XC Powerzing

Description: 19" Schwinn Paramount Series R30 -Suntour XC Expert crank, shifters derailleurs, and brakes. -Sun Chinook rims -Tange butted tubes -Ritchey Bars Seat tube is 19", top tube is about 22.5 from mid point to mid point, head tube is about 4" (a bit over 100mm) I pulled it out from under a house so had some grime and such on it. I've done a preliminary wipe down, but it'll need a more thorough cleaning. The frame has no dents, cracks or scratches that I can find. Also no blemishes in the paint that I can find. Seems like if this was ridden at some point it was minimally and then stashed under the house. Back tube won't hold air but front tube does. Doesn't look to be dry it on the tires so there is still some life in those and treads are solid. There is no chain as pictures. Derailleurs have surface rust, but both shift smoothly with a full range of motion. Rims are very slightly out of true (small enough that that brakes which are properly set up now don't rub). Rims are pretty clean. Brakes hold the wheels tightly. Some light surface rust specks in the stem. Seat is usable but pretty rough, rails are heavily rusted. No wiggle in the crankset. The freewheel is pretty toasty, but the teeth are good. Could probably be cleaned up easily enough or replace. So over all, needs a rear tube, new chain, rear shifting cleaned, and some grips to ride well. Additional cleanup/replacement of components as desired. Shipping charges on eBay for bikes seems to be all over the place these days. I've input the dimensions of the box it'll be in and the price is based off that. If it seems absurdly high, feel free to message with your zip and I'll try to get a more accurate amount. eBay gives a seller shipping discounts, which I refund to you if it is less to actually ship. I take about $10ish for supplies (tape, padding, etc) and the the cost of postage, the rest will go back to you. Local pickup is always fine, and will come with a 10% discount on the agreed upon final price The bike will be partially disassembled. Both wheels off, front fork removed, pedals off. Possibly crank off. I pack things tightly and securely so they make it to you in the same condition they leave me in. If you're going to need to take it to a shop to reassemble when you receive it, please factor that in when purchasing.
