Description: VNTG 1970’s Underwriter’s Laboratories MCM Amber Orange Base Brass Lamp|See Det.. This lamp has been rewired and works great, but only top light works. Lamp originally had a nightlight in the base which has been removed. Many of these colored base lamps from the 70’s were panted with a stained glass paint that is prone to chipping and peeling. These lamps had some paint missing when I bought them, but I have applied new stained glass paint and still have about half of the can left that I will include with purchase. The new paint seems very durable, not easy to come off and should hold up for awhile. I have 2 of these lamps, but only 1 with a shade. Willing to work with you if you want both lamps and if you do not want the shade that comes with the one, I can come down in price a little. The shade has a couple smudge marks on one side only that can be easily hidden if lamp is placed in a corner or against a wall. Quick shipping from the Indianapolis, IN area.
