Description: New First Quality XMTS-301 Xtratuf Slip-On deck / fishing shoe. Olive color. They're very functional working deck shoes. Xtratuf considers the fit on these to be "Commercial Grade", which denotes a slightly wider fit than standard yankee slip-ons. Note the the EU fit is a 48. Most US sneaker manufacturers consider a EU 47 to translate to a US 13. I wear a medium to wide in a 47 and can wear these with about a 1 to 1.5mm neoprene sock without feeling bound up. Deck surface grip is good overall. You can find their limits on smooth and icy surfaces, though no more than other commercial deck shoes. The blood resistance is also pretty good. If you don't get the blood rinsed off promptly and it bakes on, just use some Barkeeper's Friend Soft Cleanser (Paste) and a tooth brush or microfiber cloth and it'll come off pretty readily. I have not had any of the Topwaters fail in terms of a sole or rand separation, just FYI, and I'm pretty brutal on them. The Topwaters pull of the trick of having both good deck feel and a decent degree of cushioning/rebound/support. Even if you're in the mid 200 lb range... Ask as needed. Best of luck.
